West Berkshire Museum Newbury Fine Art Print
Established in 1904 the Museum is housed in two of Newbury's most historic buildings, the Cloth Hall and, just next to it, the Grain Store.
This is the Cloth Hall which was built as a cloth factory as long ago as 1627. It then went through various incarnations as as workhouse, hospital, school and corn store before being home to the Museum.
A thriving hub, the museum has exhibition galleries, a cafe and local history libraries and is well worth a visit.
