Picture Framing Training

One to one training is provided in my home workshop.

I have  been framing for 20 years and am a fully accredited Picture Framing Trainer and Examiner and the courses are endorsed by the Fine Art Trade Guild.

In addition to picture framing experience, and experience of owning and running a successful picture framing business, I also have over 20 years' experience devising running and overseeing training courses, from instructional techniques to senior management development.

Although I work as a picture framer, the workshop is closed during training so that there are no interruptions and the focus is entirely upon the needs of the individual.   

Course content is based on each applicant's individual training needs and course delivery is in easily manageable chunks all of which include :  1. Explanation. 2. Demonstration  3. Imitation. 4. Consolidation

Courses are appropriate to those :

     .     with no previous picture framing experience

     .     who want refresher training in preparation for the Guild Certified Framer Examination

     .     who want refresher training in preparation for return to the workplace

     .     who are thinking about starting or buying into an exiting picture framing business

     .     who are thinking about framing as a hobby

     .     artists, who want to learn how to frame their artwork to best advantage

Typically, an introduction to picture framing training course is of 1 day's duration but courses can be as short as half a day or as long as 5 days - it's entirely at the request of the applicant.​

Each course closes with an evaluation of the training day and identification of further training needs and how they may be met.

 TRAINING COURSE PRICES

 Full day     10.0 am to 4.00 pm        £295

 Half day     10.0 am to 1.00 pm        £150

 Prices include refreshments and all materials.  

Once course content and time has been agreed the course should be paid for a minimum of 5 days in advance.
